There are two categories: PCBN sintered directly from CBN single crystal and PCBN sintered body with a certain proportion of bindersuch as CO, Ni and Al.

Welding CBN Inserts made by the material Cubic boron nitride with high hardness, good thermal stability and strong bonding resistance suitable for processing high-manganese steel, tool steel, bearing steel, high-chromium alloy, gray cast iron, HT250 and so on. Sandwich CBN insert allows multiple corners or double full face negative inserts with a very strong high temperature vacuum braze. It provides higher insert integrity and lower cost per corner.

2. Increases wear resistance and dissipates heat from the cutting edge more efficiently thus drastically improving tool life and surface finish.
